 Affirmations have the power to build you up especially if it is used in a positive manner with the intention that it will strengthen and empower you. Affirmations promote resiliency.

What is an Affirmation?

  • A favorable opinion of something another person did or might do.

  • Something about who that person is or can be

  • Messages that validate, approve and encourage.

When it comes to developing affirmations, we follow these simple tips:

  1. Accept the negative self-talk but change it to reflect your current situation.

  2. Be intentional when writing your affirmation with POSITIVE images in mind

  3. Stay in the present as you write.

  4. Short and simple - you need to be able to remember these.

  5. Have faith in yourself and your affirmations.
