Holistic Psychotherapy is the integration of the relationship between the mind, body and spirit in effort to address issues on a deep level. During our work together, we connect to your inner being and explore the various parts that need healing. There is also an emphasis on the whole person, including the nervous system and your connection to self and others. Our work together is a mixture of present moment focus using body-based inquiry and mindful techniques with developing an understanding of your past to understand how to navigate present-day challenges. 

My role is to guide you along the journey of awakening and connecting to your inner wisdom while providing tools for your mind, body and spirit to work cohesively together. This is done through a combination of psychotherapy, yoga therapy, and EMDR.

Holistic Psychotherapy focuses on:

·      Letting go of what no longer serves you and accepting what nurtures you

·      Seeks to understand the individual’s situation beyond the presenting symptoms

·      Embracing the uniqueness of each person and their capabilities 

·      Transforming feelings of fear and shame into love and acceptance

·      Connecting to the healing powers of nature 

·      Acceptance for where you are and knowing that you hold the keys for any changes to be made

Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum of being “holistically minded,” you will benefit from the services I offer. Health equals living a spiritual lifestyle. A spiritual lifestyle means different things to each person; thus, everyone has the opportunity to grow in their own way as they experience a healing within their lifestyle.
