The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which enabled black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support.

The Loveland Foundation is the official continuation of this effort to bring opportunity and healing to communities of color, especially to Black women and girls. Through fellowships, residency programs, listening tours, and more, the foundation hopes to contribute to the empowerment and liberation of the communities it serves.

Dahlia Rose Wellness Center is proud to partner with The Loveland Foundation to support black women, girls, and gender-inclusive people seeking therapy.

We see you, hear you, and are invested in your healing.

Through their partnerships with Therapy for Black Girls, National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network, Talkspace, and Open Path Collective, Loveland Therapy Fund recipients will have access to a comprehensive list of mental health professionals across the country providing high-quality, culturally competent services to Black women and girls. With therapy sessions costing an average of $80 – $200 per session, they have selected the following options to increase the likelihood that recipients can financially afford therapy after the 4 – 8 sessions supported by The Loveland Foundation Therapy Fund. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.

How does it work?

Black women and girls deserve access to black therapists. Black women and girls deserve mental health care that can relate to and reflect their racialized experiences. Black women and girls deserve healing.

To receive vouchers, a recipient must fill out the sign-up / Intake Form via The Loveland Foundation website. If approved, each recipient will receive four vouchers to start, equivalent to 4 therapy sessions, and are eligible for 12 total vouchers a year. The vouchers are sent to the recipient via email, along with a deck overview explaining the voucher process and the payment request form to be submitted. Each voucher is worth up to $120. The recipient shall submit the deck containing the payment request form to us. After the session, we will submit the invoice using the form with the voucher number.

It is important to note that The Loveland Foundation covers $120 of your session with Dahlia Rose Wellness, and all sessions provided would be $200. Hence, clients would be required to pay the remaining balance of $80 for the sessions.

Ex. You will be charged $80, and Loveland will be charged $120 - this will be the arrangement for the sessions.

We recommend that all clients using the Loveland vouchers ensure they can budget $160 per session once they have used all four vouchers. We also suggest clients consult their out-of-network benefits to see what their insurance will cover. Some insurance companies will cover out-of-network benefits, and some may not. All of our clients are encouraged to use Reimbursify to assist with reimbursement.

Once you’ve received your vouchers, it’s time to schedule your first appointment with us.
