Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I can't make every session?
We encourage all participants to commit fully to each session, but we know life can throw curveballs. If there's a conflict, reach out; we'll work with you to ensure you're on track with the group's journey.
  • I worry about opening up in a group.
This group is a confidential, safe space where you're welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Many women find that simply listening to other's stories can be incredibly validating and healing, even if they choose not to share initially.
  • How do I know this will work for me?
While we can't offer guarantees, we know that change begins when you show up for yourself. This group is a space to explore what's been holding you back, and by engaging fully—sharing openly, listening actively, and participating in each session—you're taking powerful steps toward transformation. As in any growth journey, your commitment to this process significantly affects the outcomes.
  • How can I know this group will help me?
Our program is tailored specifically for high-achieving women like you who are dealing with the complexities of leadership roles. With a structured approach that balances evidence-based techniques and peer support, Women Who Lead is here to offer a truly transformative experience.
  • How frequently is therapy?
While we understand that missed sessions may occur due to holidays, travel, or health reasons, regular attendance supports clients in their journey toward healing. Sessions are typically 50 minutes unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon by the therapist and client.
  • How do clients benefit from working with you?
Our clients benefit from our holistic approach to therapy, which fosters personal growth, self-exploration, and cooperation. We believe in empowering women to step outside their comfort zones and pursue activities that bring them joy and fulfillment without shame or guilt. Many have found the courage to leave toxic workplaces and pursue entrepreneurship, prioritizing their overall well-being and fostering healthier relationships with themselves and others. We strive to create an environment of kindness, respect, and mutual understanding where we manage conflicts openly and respectfully. Our therapy approach encourages clients to build an environment that nurtures humor, creativity, and other expressive behaviors while understanding that recovery from trauma and neglect is deeply rooted in relationships. We assist clients in building strong social networks that surround them with support, respect, and patience, fostering a healthy community to buffer the pain, distress, and loss they may have experienced earlier in life.
  • How long does therapy take?
No set number of therapy sessions is required to achieve your goals as it varies for each individual.
